This is the book I selected for my independent reading. I chose this book because, first of all, I've read the first six books of the Harry Potter series. I purchased the seventh book a long time ago, but I never had the chance or the diligence to read it. As a matter of fact, I was too lazy to start a book so thick. I think the independent reading assignment for English class is a great opportunity to finish the Harry Potter series. I've always had at least a bit of interest in this book, and I think I'll actually enjoy reading it.
